LIVING SOIL | THCA FLOWER | TIGRE

Grown in living soil

The soil is the short version of why this flower is different. Instead of feeding the plant a liquid nutrient schedule in an inert medium, living soil keeps a whole microbial ecosystem alive in the pot and lets the plant take what it needs when it needs it.

A plant fed on a schedule gets the same inputs on the same days regardless of what it wants. A plant in living soil draws what it needs as it needs it, which is slower and produces less, but it builds a fuller terpene profile in the process. On a strain like Tigre, where the appeal is in the small savory notes rather than one loud flavor, that is the difference between a profile you can pick apart and one that just reads as generic herb.

Where it comes from

Tigre goes the opposite direction from most of the shelf. No candy, no dessert, nothing sweet about it at all.

What you get instead is lemon peel, bitter and bright rather than sugary. Behind that, crushed herbs and black pepper, and under all of it a dry, earthy base. It smells closer to a spice drawer than a candy aisle, and that is the point.

Caryophyllene leads the terpenes and accounts for the pepper. Limonene is the lemon, and myrcene is the earthy, herbal floor the whole thing sits on.

What to expect

Tigre is a sativa and it behaves like one. Bright, lively, and clear rather than heavy, better suited to the first half of the day than the end of it.

At 22.15% THCA the potency is approachable, which works in its favor here. This is flower you want to pay attention to while you smoke it, and that is easier when it is not overwhelming you.

Worth a jar

If every jar you have opened lately has tasted like fruit or frosting, Tigre is the reset. Savory, sharp, and interesting, and a good demonstration of what living soil does for a strain with a subtle profile.
